The trash service days are Monday / Thursday with recycling on Thursday, Monday / Thursday with recycling on Monday, or Tuesday / Friday with recycling on Tuesday. Please see service map for delivery areas.

If you were one of the original residents who opted out of the recycling program in 2006 and would like to now recycle, please contact Waste Management at (602) 268-2222 and they will assist you with delivering the 35-gallon bin to your residence.
Once your trash service is established with Waste Management by contacting the Customer Service department at (602)268-2222, they will deliver the 35-gallon recycle bin to all new residents of Litchfield Park.
Service may be provided as early as 6 a.m. If your container was not placed out early enough, please wait until the next scheduled collection day. If your container was out at the proper time but not collected, contact Waste Management at (602)268-2222.
AA, AAA, C, D and 9-volt batteries should be thrown out in your trash receptacle; they should not be placed in a recycling container. Alkaline batteries may be taken to a Batteries and Bulbs retail store for recycling.
Yes, the City designates a recycling drop off location just west of City Hall. Residents are encouraged to drop off their live trees through mid-January. Call 623-935-1066 for additional details.
